WHO WE ARE

OrderTrailerParts.com is operated by R Group LLC, 315 N Kit Ave, Caldwell, Idaho 83605. This policy covers what we collect when you use our website or buy from us, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Questions go to contact@ordertrailerparts.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

What you give us: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order. If you create an account, your login details and order history. If you contact us, whatever you tell us in that message.

What we collect automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived, and similar technical information collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

What we get from others: shipping status from carriers, and fraud and authorization signals from payment processors.

HOW WE USE IT

  • Taking, filling and shipping your order, and handling returns
  • Answering your questions and providing support
  • Detecting and preventing fraud and abuse
  • Sending marketing email or text messages, where you have asked us to
  • Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it
  • Meeting our legal and tax obligations

PAYMENTS

This store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and processes orders on our behalf. Payment card details are encrypted and handled by the payment gateway under the PCI-DSS standard. We do not see or store your full card number.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

  • Shopify, as our store platform and order processor
  • Carriers — USPS and UPS — to deliver your order
  • Payment processors, to take payment and screen for fraud
  • Advertising and analytics providers, including Google, Meta and Pinterest
  • Anyone we are legally required to share it with, or where necessary to enforce our terms

ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and we advertise through Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest. These services set cookies and receive information about your visit, which may be used to show you our ads on other sites.

Under some state privacy laws this counts as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out — see Your rights below. You can also opt out of Google Analytics through Google’s browser add-on, and control ad personalization in your Google, Meta and Pinterest account settings.

EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGES

If you sign up for our newsletter or opt in at checkout, we will send you restock alerts, deals and product news by email. Every message has an unsubscribe link.

If you opt in to text message updates at checkout, we will text you about your order and, where you have agreed, about offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for assistance.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping notices and returns correspondence.

COOKIES

We use cookies and similar technologies for four purposes: keeping the site working (your session, your cart), remembering your preferences, measuring how the site is used, and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the store will not work properly without the essential ones.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong
  • Have it deleted
  • Opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising
  • Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of them, email contact@ordertrailerparts.com. We may need to verify who you are before we act — usually by confirming details of an order you placed. You can have an authorized agent make a request on your behalf.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep order records as long as we need them for warranty, returns, accounting and tax purposes, and longer where the law requires it. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

CHILDREN

This store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
